We’re Lesley & Matt—the husband and wife duo behind Gelfman Photography. We started this together with a shared love for documenting people in a way that feels real, emotional, and true to who they are.
Our approach is simple: we want your photos to feel like you. Nothing overly stiff or forced—just genuine moments, natural connection, and all the little in-between memories that end up meaning the most. We’ll guide you when needed, but we’re big on creating space for moments to happen naturally.
Being a team that's literally married, we work seamlessly together throughout the day. One of us is always noticing the big moments while the other is catching the ones you didn’t even realize were happening. We balance each other out in the best way, and both of our goals is to always make you feel comfortable and free to actually enjoy your celebration.
For us, photography is about more than just creating stunning imagery. It’s more to do with preserving emotion. The feelings you had when you witnessed how beautiful your day looked, sounded, and how you felt surrounded by the people you love most. Those are the photos we value most ourselves, and that’s what we want to give our couples too.
