Gelfman Photography is a boutique photography studio that’s led by the married duo Matt and Lesley, who both have their Bachelor's in Photography and over 12 years of experience in portrait and wedding/event work.

Photography (especially wedding photography) is at its heart a very personal and vulnerable thing.

You’re basically letting strangers into the innermost circle of one of the biggest days of your life, and not only are they experiencing it with you, they’re recording it! We sincerely feel that your photographers shouldn’t be a nameless, faceless technician that was simply “assigned” to you. You should be comfortable with them as you would be with friends and feel safe in knowing they’re well aware of the things that mean the most to you on your big day.

Photographers need to do more than just take the photos—they need to help cultivate an atmosphere that strengthens the celebratory nature of a wedding. It’s our mission to do everything we can to make the photographic aspects of your day stress-free, enjoyable, and unobtrusive. When it comes down to it, we feel it’s most important for you to have have an amazing time at YOUR wedding! Photography should never be something to hinder that.
